Exciting Dance Competitions

Three levels of classes and companies to choose from:
Recreational Dance-Monroeville, PA-M & M Dance Academy

Recreational/Non-competitive classes

Creative and fun for all ages and levels starting at 2&1/2 years thru to high school. Students enjoy weekly classes with the option to perform in our end of the year recital performance. Most of these students attend 1 to 2 classes per week. Good technique is taught as well developing stage presence skills, and making new friends!
Hip Hop Competition-Monroeville, PA-M & M Dance Academy

Hip Hop Competition Teams

Dancers may join one of our awesome hip hop teams at M&M Dance Academy to compete in dance competitions at the recreational level. They attend 2 to 3 competitions along with local shows and our annual recital. There is only a one evening a week commitment for these teams (1hour and 45 minutes girls, 1 hour boys). Girls team ages 7-11, Girls team ages 12-18, and Boys team ages 7-14. Enjoy fun times with friends, while learning current hip hop moves, and perfecting a routine for competition.

Dance Company Competition Team

Dancers looking for more performance opportunities in all dance subjects should audition for our dance company. Our dance company competes at 3 competitions per season as well as many festivals and recital. Our dance company is considered more recreational compared to more intense studios, only requiring our dancers to take 2 to 4 hours of class per week for younger students and 4 to 6 hours for older students. We emphasize good technique as well as developing sensational stage presence and performance skills. Learn to work as a team, enjoy wonderful performance opportunities, and make life- long friendships. We currently have over 100 happy students competing on our teams!
